10/2/21 LOS ANGELES, CA - The Los Angeles Dodgers got some great news before beating the Milwaukee Brewers 8-3 that the San Diego Padres beat the San Francisco Giants earlier today.

Julio Urias picked up his 20th win of the season to lead MLB and should be the 2021 CY Young Award Winner for the National League after pitching 6.1 innings, retired 16 batters in a roll, gave up one hit, one run, and had seven strikeouts.

"It's a dream season. Very blessed and very thankful," Urías said. "I was very blessed all year to stay healthy."

Corbin Barnes, the starting pitcher for the Brewers, only lasted two innings giving up three runs to the Dodgers.

The Brewers, in the top of the first inning, led 1-0 when Christain Yelich grounded out to Max Muncy that allowed Willie Adames to come home.
