10/24/20 ARLINGTON, TX - Walker Buehler pitched six outstanding innings with ten strikeouts and gave up one home run as the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Tampa Bay Rays 6-2 in Game 3 of the World Series to take a 2-1 lead.

Charlie Morton did not have a good night pitching for Tampa Bay, giving up seven hits, five runs, and six strikeouts against the Dodgers. Buehler had great stuff and great locations on his pitches striking out the first seven batters.

Beuhler joins the company of Clayton Kershaw (Game 1, 2017) and Sandy Koufax (Game 1, 1965) as the only pitchers in franchise history with double-digit strikeouts and not giving up more than three hits in a World Series start.

"I think the more you do these things, the calmer you get," Buehler said. "I don't want to keep harping on it, but I enjoy doing this, and I feel good in these spots."

For the Dodgers, Julio Urius (3-0, Postseason 4-0) and Tampa Bay Ryan Yarbrough (1-4, Postseason 1-0). #mlb #dodgers #tampabayrays #walkerbuehler #justinturner #austinbarnes #worldseries #tgsportstv1
