10/24/20 ARLINGTON, TX - Walker Buehler pitched six outstanding innings with ten strikeouts and gave up one home run as the Los Angeles Dodgers beat the Tampa Bay Rays 6-2 in Game 3 of the World Series to take a 2-1 lead.
Charlie Morton did not have a good night pitching for Tampa Bay, giving up seven hits, five runs, and six strikeouts against the Dodgers. Buehler had great stuff and great locations on his pitches striking out the first seven batters.

"I think the more you do these things, the calmer you get," Buehler said. "I don't want to keep harping on it, but I enjoy doing this, and I feel good in these spots."
In the top of the 3rd inning, The Dodgers added two more runs when Max Muncy singles into center-field that allowed Corey Seager and Turner to cross home plate made the score 3-0.
During the bottom of the 4th inning, Austin Barners laid down a perfect bunt squeeze that went down towards the first baseline, and Cody Bellinger was able to score from third base increase the Dodgers lead 4-0.
Mookie Betts, in the same inning, hit a single that brought home Joc Pederson making the score for the Dodgers 5-0. Tampa Bay finally scored in the bottom of the 5th inning after Buehler gave up a solo home run to Willy Adames that made the score 5-1.
Austin Barnes, in the bottom of the 6th inning, hit a solo home run over the center-field fence, and the Dodgers now led Tampa Bay 6-1. Tampa Bay scored their last run of the game in the bottom of the 9th inning, after Randy Arozarena homer over the left-field wall.
