Houston Texans Coral the Oakland Raiders at the end 27-24

10/27/19 HOUSTON, TEXAS - The Houston Texans and the Oakland Raiders battle to the end, with the Texans coming from behind in the fourth quarter to beat the Raiders 27-24 to improve their record to 5-3.

The Texans' quarterback Deshaun Watson completed 27/39 passes for 279-yards 3 touchdowns. DeAndre Hopkins led the Texans in receptions with 11 catches or 109-yards, and their tight-end Darren Fells had six-catches and two-touchdowns.

The Raiders', quarterback Derek Carr threw the ball 30 times, while completing 18 passes for 285-yards 3 touchdowns. Tyrell Williams led the Raiders in receptions with 3 for 91-yards 1 touchdown.

Oakland in the first quarter scored first after Carr threw a 65-yard yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Hunter Renfrow to give the Raiders a 7-0 lead. Houston tied the game 7-7 on a 12-yard touchdown pass to Duke Johnson from Watson.

The Raiders regained the lead 14-7 when Carr connected with his tight-end Darren Waller in the endzone for an 8-yard touchdown catch. The Texans trail the Raiders at halftime 14-10 after their kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn made a 33-yard field goal.

In the third quarter, the Raiders would increase their lead to 21-10 after Williams scored on a 46-yard touch pass from Carr. Fairbanks kicked a 40-yard field goal for the Texans to make the score 21-13.

The Texans in the fourth quarter made the score 21-20 after Watson threw a 4 -yard touchdown pass to Darren Fells. The Raiders' kicker Daniel Carlson made a 44-yard field goal to give them a 24-20 lead.

Watson with 4:22 left in the game worked his magic, found Fells in the endzone from 9-yards out to capped-off their 27-24 come from behind win over the Oakland Raiders.

The Raiders had a chance to tied the game or win the game, but Tyrell Williams couldn't hold on to the ball on fourth down, and the Raiders had no more timeouts to stop the clock.
