10/27/20 INGLEWOOD, CA - Jared Goff and the Los Angeles Rams return to their winning ways after losing to the San Francisco 49ers 24-16 in the Bay Area after beating the Chicago Bears 24-10 in a physical game at So-Fi Stadium.

Jared Goff for the Rams completed 23 of his 33 passes for 219-yards and two touchdowns. The Rams' Malcolm Brown rush for 57-yards on ten carries and one touchdown. Nick Foles completed 28 of his 40 attempts for 261-yards and two interceptions.

Aaron Donald, for Rams, wasn't happy about the way they lost to the San Francisco 49ers 24-16, saying that they were soft up in the Bay Area, the Rams made a statement, by man-handling the Bears on offense and defense, one of the tops teams in the NFL.

The Rams scored first in the first inning when Goff threw a 4-yard touchdown pass to Josh Reynolds to give them a 7-0 lead. The Bears in the second quarter scored after Cairo Santos kicked a 42-yard field goal that made the score 7-3.

In the same quarter, Samuel Sloman kicked a 22-yard field goal to give the Rams a 10-3 lead. The Rams' offensive line in the first half did a good job keeping Khalil Mack and Akem Hicks from getting to Goff leading at half time.

Aaron Donald was being doubled team by the Bears' offensive line, but the Rams defensive was putting pressure on the Bears' quarterback Nick Foles by not giving him time to look downfield for open receivers.

The Rams added to their point total in the third quarter when Malcolm Brown scored on a 1-yard touchdown run increased their lead to 17-3. Gerald Everett would score the last touchdown for the Rams when Goff threw a 12-yard touchdown pass making the score 24-3.

The only bright side for the Bears came in the fourth inning when safety Eddie Jackson picked up a fumble by the Rams and ran in from 8-yards out to make the final 24-10.

After the game, during the post-game interviews, the Rams' quarterback Jared Goff touch on how the Rams offense played tonight against the Bears defense.

“I thought we did well. That defense is tough. We had to do some different things for them and make sure we were on our Q’s and T’s all night. I thought we ran the ball really well and then I thought in the passing game, we did a good job after the catch, making plays after the catch. There were a couple of careless errors by me that we got away with but that’s the game. I thought we were able to distribute the ball pretty well and make some plays.”

With the win, the Rams improve to (5-2), and the Bears fell to (5-2) also. The Rams' next game will be on the road to take on the Miami Dolphins, and the Bears will be at home to take on Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints. #nfl #larams #chicagobears #jaredgoff #joshreynolds #geraldeverett #momdaynightfootball #tgsportstv1
