Clippers Steam Roll Wizards 150-125

12/1/19 LOS ANGELES - The Los Angeles Clippers' offense exploded in the second quarter scoring 43 points, and Paul George scoring 27 of his 31 points at half time went on to beat the Washington Wizards 150-125. Kawhi Leonard led the Clippers in scoring with 34 points, Montrezl Harrell 23 points and a career-high15 rebound, and Lou Williams 22 points.

The Wizards' rookie Rui Hachimura led his team in scoring with his career-high 30 points, followed by Bradley Beal 23 points 11 assists, Davis Bertans 20 points, and Isaiah Thomas 16 points.

The Clippers led the Wizard only by four points at the end of the first quarter 39-35, before the roof caved in on Washington as the Clippers led at halftime 82-57. Beal with 17 points and Hachimura 13 points couldn't offset the big first half that George had, and Harrell off the bench with 12 points and Williams 10 points.

"We just came out a little bit more aggressive as a unit," Williams said. "We were very efficient on the offensive end. The shots took a lot of times were ones we wanted to take."

At the end of the third quarter, the Clippers were up by eighteen-points 116-98 and still keeping the pedal on the gas, and their defense kept the Wizards from gaining any ground, and the way Leonard has been scoring look out NBA.

"It's those new shoulders. He's just a great shooter," Rivers said. "he's shooting deep shots on the move and doing it with great balance."

Leonard put the game on fast forward in the fourth quarter, scored the Clippers first 11 points, as Los Angeles now led 138-107. George and Leonard came out, and the bench took care of the rest as they went on to beat the Wizards 150-125 improving their home record to (12-1) and their overall record to (15-6), and the Wizards fell to (6-12).

The Clippers dominated the paint scoring the Wizards by a plus twenty 66-46, and their bench outscored the Wizards bench 73-39.
