12/22/21 INGLEWOOD, CA - The Los Angeles Rams (10-4) are tied with the Arizona Cardinals (10-4) for first place in the NFC West after beating the Seattle Seahawks 20-10 at So-Fi Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Matthew Stafford completed 21 of his passes for 244-yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Cooper Kupp had nine catches for 136-yards and two touchdowns.

The Rams had numerous players listed on the Cov-19 list, but a great job by their coaching staff and other players stepping up.

"This was a heavy week navigating all the things we went through," Rams' head coach Sean McVay said." "This was a big-time win for our team."

The Rams in the first quarter led the Seahawks 3-0 after Matt Gay kicked a 55-yard field goal. Aaron Donald made his presence felt earlier, stopping Seattles's running back Rashaad Penny for a loss of yards.

The Seahawks, in the second quarter, got the first turnover of the game after Matthew Stafford's pass to Cooper Kupp was intercepted by Quandre Diggs (FS).

Seattle tied the game 3-3 after Jason Myers kicked a 39-yard field goal with 10 seconds left before halftime.

Russell Wilson, and the Seahawks offense, drove 75-yards downfield in the third quarter to take a 10-3 lead when DeeJay Dallas scored on a 4-yard touchdown run.

Sony Michel had a 39-yard run to set up the Rams offense with good field position, capped off by a 6-yard touchdown catch by Kupp, tying the game 10-10 with 6:31 left in the third quarter.

The Rams regained the lead 17-10 in the fourth quarter when Stafford threw a 29-yard touchdown pass to Kupp with 10:41 left in the game. Gay would kick a 35-yard field goal that would end the game, making the final score 20-10.

The Rams defense made the plays to keep the Seahawks out of the endzone while sacking Russell three times. With the win, the Rams have a chance to make the playoffs, and perhaps the NFC West with three games remaining on their schedule.

"We're in a good spot. I mean, hopefully, we're in a good spot," cornerback Jalen Ramsey said. "Hopefully, we can keep trending up."

The Rams will have five days to rest up and hopefully will have more players off the Cov19 list before hitting the road to take on the Minnesota Vikings (7-7) on Sunday. #larams #nfl #nfcwest #cooperkupp #russellwilson #seattleseahawks #losangelesrams #matthewstafford #tgsportstv1
