2/24/20 LOS ANGELES, CA - Hundreds of fans lineup across the street from the Staple Center to pay their respect and celebrate the life of Kobe Bryant, Gianna Bryant, and the others that lost their lives in the fatal helicopter crash.
Fans came from all walks of life, different parts of the country, where the color of one's skin didn't matter, just love and brotherhood being shown paying tribute to one of the greatest NBA players of all-time.
There were smiles and laughter, and sad faces also. Yet the celebration among the fans outside of the Staple Center was simply awesome and felt across the world. It didn't matter if they didn't have a ticket but felt blessed just to be there.
There were Lakers and Kobe fans wearing their #8, #24 jerseys, Kobe T-Shirts of all ages chanting out "Kobe, Kobe, Kobe." All kinds of signs, flags, and anything you could think of that had Kobe and Gianna on it.
It was indeed a celebration of life Kobe and Gianna Bryant that will stay with the Lakers for all-time. What Kobe's life did for the game of basketball, parents and kids across the world, Gianna impact on young girls and boys around the world, and the other lives that were lost February 24, 2020, will never be forgotten.
We will keep your wife and kids in prayer, and the other families that lost their loved ones. There is a gallery below, or go to the Galleries tab and click on the Event button of photos showing the love for Kobe, Gianna, and the others who are not with us. All the photos are Nick Koza/T.G.Sports.
