Embiid, Harden, and the 76ers beat the Clippers 122-97

3/25/22 LOS ANGELES, CA - The Los Angeles Clippers game out the gate slow at the start of the game, and when the dust settled, the Philadelphia 76ers won 122-97 at the Crypto.com Arena.

James Harden led the way for the 76ers with 29-points, 15 rebounds, seven assists, and Joel Embiid 27-points and ten rebounds.

Amir Coffey scored 21-points to lead the Clippers in scoring, Isaiah Hartenstein 16-points, Terrance Mann 12-points, and Reggie Jackson 11-points.

Being short-handed all season and without Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, and newly acquired Norman Powell, the Clippers have lost the snap-crackle-pop in their legs.

"Because being so short-handed all season and the way we've played and the way we've competed every single night, some nights you're just going to be overmatched," Clippers head coach Tyronn Lue said. "And tonight, I thought we were overmatched."

Nicholas Batum made a three-pointer, and Amir Coffey made a jump shot, giving the Clippers a 5-2 lead in the first quarter. The 76ers tied the game 5-5 with a three-point jump shot by James Harden.

Philadelphia led 9-5 with a dunk by Matisse Thybulle, forcing the Clippers to call a timeout. The Clippers trail 18-7 with a jump shot by Batum. The 76ers led 16-7 after a jump shot by Joel Embiid.

Terrance Mann made a layup that had the Clippers trailing 21-9. The 76ers led 30-11 with a jump shot by Shake Milton. The Clippers trail 32-14 with a made basket and free throw by Isaiah Hartenstein.

Tobias Harris would knock down a three-pointer before the buzzer to give the 76ers a 35-19 lead at the end of the quarter.

The Clippers trail 36-26 in the second quarter after a three-point shot by Robert Covington. Mann would make two free throws that made the score 38-28. Harden would make a three-pointer to give the 76ers a 41-28 lead.

The Clippers trail 46-28 after Furkan Korkmaz made a three-pointer, and the Clippers called another time out with 6:15 left before halftime.

Marcus Morris Sr. made a jump shot in the paint that made the score 48-32. Harden would make another three-point shot to give the 76ers a 57-37 lead.

The 76ers led at halftime 64-43, with Harden scoring 25-points and Embiid with 17-points. Ivica Zubac made a tip-in basket, and the Clippers were trailing 68-49 in the third quarter. The Clippers trail the 76ers 85-67 with a dunk by Reggie Jackson.

Tyrese Maxey would make a floating jump shot that gave the 76ers a 93-71 lead at the end of the third quarter.

Danny Green made a three-pointer to give Philadelphia a 96-72 lead to start the fourth quarter.

Kennard would make a three-point shot making the score 108-84. Isaiah Joe for the 76ers with his step-back jumper gave the 76ers a 112-86 lead with 4:18 remaining on the clock.

The 76ers beat the Clippers 122-97. With the win, the 76ers improved their record to (46-27), and the Clippers fell to (36-39).
