5/14/22 LOS ANGELES, CA - The Philadelphia Phillies (17-17) hit four home runs in route to an 8-3 win over the Los Angeles Dodgers (20-11) Saturday night at Dodger Stadium.

Bryce Harper hit his third straight home run against the Dodgers, and Philadelphia scored 29 runs in three games.

"I think we've done a great job of coming in here, getting on guys early, and battling the best we can and jumping on stuff when we can," Harper said.

Dodgers starting pitcher Julio Urias struggled early and gave up four home runs in the first four innings, allowing eight runs in the game. It was the first time Urias allowed four home runs in a game.

The Phillies jumped to an early 3-0 lead in the top of the first inning on Jean Segura's three-run home run to left field. The Dodgers cut the lead to 3-1 in the bottom of the first inning on Mookie Betts' leadoff solo home run to right field.

In the top of the third inning, Rhys Hoskins singled, and Alec Bohm doubled. Harper smashed a 420-foot 3-run home run to give the Phillies a 6-1 lead. Philadelphia grabbed an 8-1 lead in the fourth inning on solo home runs from Kyle Schwarber and Hoskins.

Los Angeles had bases loaded with one out in the bottom of the fourth inning when Cody Bellinger hit a 2-run double to cut the lead 8-3.

"The last four games, we haven't executed like we are capable of doing," Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said. "When you take a team that those guys who are swinging hot bats and you don't make good pitches, they are going to make you pay."

The last game of the series will be on Sunday, with Aaron Nola (1-4) getting the start for the Phillies. Los Angeles will send Michael Grove, making his first MLB debut, to the mound. #mlb #juliorais #ladodgers #philadelphiaphillies #dodgersbaseball #tgsportstv1 #phillies #rangersuarez
