The Clippers were playing at a different level tonight and held the Mavs' Luka Donic to 22 points on 6-17 shooting in the game was smother by the tight defense the Clippers were playing.

The Mavs found out how good the Clippers really could be once they decide to play their style of basketball and play defense gave up 41 points to the home team as they trail 41-22 in the first quarter.

George was just in a different frame of mind and seemed to be back to being his old self, was in a flow on offense as the Clippers held a 76-57 lead at halftime.

Lou Williams didn't have one of his typical games tonight, scoring only 8 points in the game, was just happy about the way the Clippers responded after giving Game 4 to the Mavs in overtime.

The Mavs' Tim Hardaway Jr. had 19 points and Trey Burke 15 points didn't get off like the way they did in Game 4, and they couldn't contain George, Leonard, and Harrel, now face the possibility of being eliminated from the playoffs if they don't win Game 6 on Thursday night.

The Clippers’ Landry Shamet, and Reggie Jackson both scored 11 points, but it was a great team effort that has allowed them the opportunity to be only one game away to advance to the second round of the NBA Playoffs

The Clippers shot the ball well from three-point range, made 22 of 35 shots from the floor shooting 62.9 percent, and the Mavs made only 12 of 37 shots from three-point range for 32.4 percent.
