9/9/21 THOUSAND OAKS, CA - Everybody knows to win an NFL Championship, you must play great defense, and no one is better on defense than the Los Angeles Rams Aaron Donald (DL).
The eight-year pro is ready to hit the playing field at So-Fi Stadium on prime-time Sunday Night Football against the Chicago Bears. Donald brings it on every play of the game on defense.
Donald is now 30 this year, and getting to the Super Bowl now is more important than ever for the 2-Time Defensive Player of the Year spoke about getting to the Super Bowl.
"Oh, 100%! Yeah. But that's me being able to have the opportunity to go to a Super Bowl and get an experience that motivated me to want to get there and win one. So, that's the only thing I've been chasing, the only thing I want to accomplish that I feel like I didn't yet. So, that's my main focus. My main goal is to do everything I can – that's trying to help this team and do that."
You could feel the vibe during practice, and watching the defense going thru their drills, and excitement that the regular season for all of them will start on Sunday Night.
Jalen Ramsey and the other players in the secondary will finally get a chance to show America why they may have one of the best secondary in the NFL.
Just like the Bears with Andy Dalton, the Rams defense will be a true test for their offensive line to give him time to look downfield for open receivers, and Matthew Stafford and his offensive line will have their hands full as well.
Donald is pleased with what he has seen from Stafford during training camp and the way he works during practices.
"The same type of stuff – out there making all the right passes, and all the right calls, and all the right plays, and looking great. So, I'm just ready to see him translate it to the game and help us win."
